Most often, we equate vision or goal with only a picture of the end-result. We see the big picture at one glance. We identify what the outcome should be. And then, we are faced with a wall. We don’t know where to start. We don’t know how to start.
People do not pursue what they are set to become because they are stuck with the end goal. They forgot to plan out what steps to make. They are blinded by the product and overlooked the process.
This phase is what I call the Limitation on Clarity. This is the topic in our second session during the Breaking Through Limits.
People are constricted with what they know. They move within the boundary of knowledge. Even with vision, we need to know the details. This is where we need context and capacity in fulfilling our vision.
Becoming the best version of ourselves needs contextualization and capacity. Context means the depth, the width, length and height, color and taste, visuals, and audacity. Create a structure from which your purpose and potential are linked. Context is the details.
Capacity means skill, talent, and ability. You will identify what you need to do to build your capacity when you have contextualized your future. This is when vision becomes an important tool to journey life, personally, professionally, in business, or other aspects and facets of humanity.
I like how the vision was defined by Dr. Cindy Trimm, an International Empowerment Specialist and Success Executive Coach. “Vision is a spiritual reality yet to be born in time.”
“It is not enough to see your future. You have to see yourself in your future,” she added. If we want to make our dream into a reality, make our vision clear. We need to create details toward the vision. I have been telling people this, “the more clearer you are on your vision, the closer you get.”
So, when we are faced with this limitation, Limitation on Clarity, we have to impose this, “I know what I want.” Commit yourself to see the details. Do not neglect the process. Do not forget to create a context of your vision. Make it clear.
